About me

My name is Christiane Klingner and I obtained my license (German Approbation) for Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in 2017, at the NIVT in Bremen, Germany.

Between 2000 and 2007 I studied, worked and lived as an expat in Manchester, UK. I am fluent in both languages and therefore offer psychotherapy sessions in both English and German. Due to my own experiences and challenges I faced when transitioning into life abroad, I hold an understanding of issues, that expat clients can benefit from. As I am also familiar with the German healthcare and education system, I am therefore able to provide support in both fields if and when needed.

I am registered at the Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians of Berlin (Kassenärztliche Vereinigung or KV Berlin) and am a member of the Berlin board of psychotherapists (Psychotherapeutenkammer Berlin).

Course of treatment

After an initial conversation, the getting-to-know-you phase follows, after which the diagnosis is clarified in further sessions before therapy can begin. I would be happy to explain to you in more detail how you can imagine the treatment process.

Range of services

My services include, among other things, behavioral therapy treatment, coaching and advice for parents. I would be happy to give you an overview of the focus of my work and various therapy options.

Appointment

Consultations or treatments are only possible by prior appointment. For an appointment or if you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
